Asked to generate more visitors and sales for the seventh annual art exhibition in aid of the Retail Trust charity, mm developed a direct mail campaign and ran it in tandem with a personalised geo-specific distribution. The aim was not only to increase event awareness and visitor numbers to the Glasgow show over the three-day event but to also specifically target art-buying audiences.
The result was 'Sold!' On the strength of the substantial increase in visitors and, more importantly, in recognition of record-breaking sales, Matthews Marketing will be working with the Retail Trust on its 2004 Glasgow show.
