Award for Excellence at the 2004 UK Museum and Heritage Show



Matthews Marketing has been awarded the prestigious UK Museums and Heritage Award for Excellence 2004. Carol picked up the award for Best UK Marketing Campaign for the strategy, delivery and evaluation of the recent Glasgow Whistler Festival.


The Whistler Festival campaign, which Matthews Marketing undertook in partnership with Pointsize design agency, was a great success for Glasgow, attracting over 300,000 people and boosting the Glasgow economy by £5.9 million last year. The Awards judges remarked “The campaign had been meticulously planned, executed and evaluated. The marketing team ensured maximum exposure and maximum return on investment, delivering a remarkably successful campaign.”
